We collect as little as we can. We don't share what we have. This page tells you exactly what we do.
Who we are
Linger is operated by UPRO AI PTE. LIMITED, a private limited company registered in Singapore at 138 Robinson Road, #02-54, Oxley Tower, Singapore 068906. You can reach us — and our Data Protection Officer — at hello@linger.day.
What we collect
When you submit your email to the waitlist, we collect:
- Your email address.
- Where you came from (UTM parameters in the link you clicked, the website that referred you — only the hostname, not the full URL).
- Where you were on the page when you submitted (which form, how far you'd scrolled, how long you'd been reading).
- Your approximate country (inferred from your network connection — we never store your IP address).
- Your device type (phone, tablet, or computer) and your browser language.
When you visit the page, we use Vercel Analytics to count anonymous visits, see which sections people read, and understand whether the page works. Vercel Analytics is cookieless — it doesn't place anything on your device, doesn't fingerprint your browser, and doesn't track you across other websites.
What we don't collect
- Your name, phone number, address, or any other personal detail.
- Your IP address (raw).
- Anything about you on other websites.
- Browsing habits beyond linger.day.
- We don't use Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Analytics, or any third-party advertising or behavioural tracker.
Why we collect it
To send you one email when the app launches. To understand which channels brought thoughtful people to the page, so we know where to keep showing up. That's it.
Under GDPR, our legal basis is your explicit consent (you typed your email in and pressed a button) and our legitimate interest in measuring whether the landing page is doing its job.
Who has access
Two companies help us run this:
- Resend stores your email and sends the confirmation message you receive after submitting. Resend is based in the United States and is GDPR-compliant under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We've signed a Data Processing Agreement with them.
- Vercel hosts the website and provides anonymous usage analytics. Your form submission passes through Vercel's servers. Vercel is also based in the United States and is GDPR-compliant under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
No one else. We don't sell your email. We don't share it with marketers. We don't post it anywhere.
How long we keep it
Your email stays in our list until the app launches (planned July 2026) plus 12 months. After that, if you haven't become an active user, we anonymize the record permanently.
You can leave at any time — every email we send has an unsubscribe link that removes you completely. Or write to hello@linger.day and we'll do it manually within 48 hours.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Know what we have about you. Email us and we'll send you everything.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete everything. Permanently.
- Take your data with you (export to a file).
- Stop us from using it. At any time. No questions.
To exercise any of these, write to hello@linger.day. We respond within 30 days, usually sooner.
If you're in the EU and you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also complain to your country's data protection authority. If you're in Singapore, you can contact the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).
Children
Linger is intended for people 17 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has submitted their email, write to hello@linger.day and we'll remove the record.
International transfers
UPRO AI PTE. LIMITED is registered in Singapore. Our service providers (Resend, Vercel) are based in the United States. If you're in the EU, your data is processed outside the EU.
For transfers from the EU to our Singapore entity, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) — a legal mechanism approved by the European Commission — because Singapore does not currently have a full GDPR adequacy decision. For our US-based service providers, we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and we've signed SCCs with each of them as an additional safeguard.
Cookies
We don't use cookies. Not for analytics. Not for advertising. Not for anything.
The website may store small pieces of data in your browser's session storage to remember things like which marketing link brought you to the page. This is automatically cleared when you close the tab and isn't a cookie. Under EU law, it's exempt from cookie consent.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything important, we'll update the date at the top and tell you in the next email. For minor wording fixes, we update silently.
