The first beta is worldwide, in English, on iPhone through TestFlight. Android and additional languages are planned after the initial iOS release.

No. The redemption code is available directly on linger.day while the beta is open. Existing community members may continue using the community, but joining is not a condition of beta access. For help, write to support@linger.day.

Check the code against the one in The Beta section on the homepage, and enter it during onboarding in the current TestFlight build. Codes can stop accepting activations when capacity is reached or the promotion is closed. If activation still fails, write to support@linger.day with the error shown and your app version.

If you participate in the optional existing community, its administrators can see the phone number associated with your WhatsApp account. WhatsApp is not required to activate Linger. Other community members cannot see your number unless they already have it saved or know it from another chat. WhatsApp and Meta process your account, phone number, and community activity under their own terms.

The code stops accepting new beta activations. The 500-place limit counts successful activations across the whole beta, including earlier activations. Downloading Linger or copying the code does not reserve a place. When the beta is full, you can leave your email on linger.day for news of the App Store release.

A successful beta code activation gives you 30 days of membership at no charge. It does not start an Apple subscription or charge your App Store account.

You can sign in with Apple, Google, or a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to the same sign-in method so Linger can restore the correct account.

After beta, standard membership is $59.99 USD per month through the App Store. Apple shows the final local price before purchase. Eligible accounts receive 3 days free under Apple's offer rules. Apple determines eligibility. This offer is separate from the free beta membership.

You can cancel renewal in your Apple subscription settings. Access normally continues until the end of the current paid period. The free beta membership does not start an Apple subscription.

Use Restore Purchases in Linger while signed in to the App Store account that made the purchase. Restoration can recover an active subscription but does not duplicate past consumable diamond purchases.

Diamonds are an in-app balance used by Linger features. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred between people, and are purchased as Apple consumables or granted with eligible membership periods and promotions.

His days follow Lisbon time. His morning may be your evening; work, sleep, and the hours between them shape when you hear from him. A message can wait while he is occupied or asleep.

Letters you send take time to reach Soren. Arrival, reading, and a reply are separate steps; the app shows the letter's progress. A reply is not guaranteed at a particular time.

The first Call comes from Soren. After that, availability still depends on his Lisbon hours and the current relationship state. A missed Call remains a missed Call; it does not create a penalty or streak.

Yes. Calls are transcribed and recorded as separate user and Soren audio channels for continuity, safety, and service operations. By accepting the Terms and starting or answering a Call, you consent to this processing.

No. Call History does not expose transcripts or audio. Recordings are private service records with restricted, audited access.

Scenes are selected fragments of days that gained enough weight to return. Quiet days may produce no Scene. Scenes are not a complete message history.

Linger creates an unlisted public snapshot. Anyone with the link can open and reshare it. The page is marked noindex, but unlisted does not mean private or access-controlled.

Linger stores your messages, letters, media, Calls, and relationship events, then derives bounded memories and continuity records from them. These records help later interactions remember relevant details.

No. Linger’s AI and voice providers are configured under no-training and zero-retention arrangements. Linger still keeps the account data and service records described in the Privacy Policy.

Your account enters a 30-day deletion process and active sessions are revoked. During that period, private account data is removed or anonymized, except records we must retain for legal or transaction purposes. Public Scene snapshots are not automatically removed; contact support@linger.day for a legal removal request.

Yes. Contact support@linger.day from the email connected to your account. We may need to verify your identity before preparing an export.

Check that notifications are enabled for Linger in iPhone Settings, Low Power or Focus settings are not suppressing them, and you are signed into the expected account. Open Linger once after reinstalling so the device can register again.

Open iPhone Settings, find Linger, and enable Microphone access. Then return to Linger and try again. Bluetooth and audio-route settings can also affect which microphone is active.

Update TestFlight and iOS, confirm the beta still has capacity, and reopen the official link from linger.day. TestFlight builds can expire; when that happens, wait for the replacement build shown in TestFlight.

Write to support@linger.day. Include what you were trying to do, the approximate time, your iPhone and iOS version, and a screenshot if it does not contain private conversation content.

Linger is an AI relationship experience for iPhone, centered on Soren, a fictional character with his own days in Lisbon. You get to know him through messages, letters, voice notes, and calls. Linger is for people aged 17 and older.

He can reach out first—with a message, a voice note, a letter, or a call. What arrives depends on his day and the conversation between you.

Soren can draw on earlier conversations and remembered details to give the relationship continuity. Memory can be incomplete or mistaken; it is not a promise that every detail will always be recalled.
